What Time are Check In and Check Out?

Check in is after 2 pm. If your room is ready before then, we will check you in upon your arrival. Check out is at 11:00am.

Can I Have a Late Check Out?

If you would like a late check out, you must make arrangements upon arrival or when you reserve the room.  A fee may be associated with a request for late check out.

Do You Offer Wi-Fi and Do You Charge for It?

We offer free Wi-Fi for our guests.

What is Your Cancelation Policy?

At the Marina Inn, we require that you cancel 48 hours prior to your arrival or you will be charged one night’s stay per room booked. Additionally, you must cancel exactly in the manner you booked your reservation.

How Far is the Hotel from the Airport?

The San Diego International Airport is less than miles (5 minutes) from our hotel.

What Type of Transportation is Close to the Hotel?

We have the local bus stop across the street from our hotel. Additionally, there is a trolley station located block from the hotel, which goes almost everywhere in San Diego city, all the way to the Mexican border.

What Time is Deluxe Breakfast Served?

The Complimentary Deluxe Breakfast is prepared daily and available from 7:00am to 9:30am.

Do You Charge for Parking?

No. Parking is free for our guests.  However, we do charge for parking if you want to leave the car with us for an extended period with our Park & Fly or Park & Sail Packages. The charges vary, so please confirm the fees at the time of your booking.

I Need to Leave My Car. Do You Have a Park & Fly Program?

Yes we do. Your car is safe with us. It is never parked in any lot except on premises.

What Form of Payment Do You Accept?

At the Marina Inn, we accept American Express, Discover, Visa and Master Card.

What do You Require to Reserve a Room?

We require a government issued picture ID such as a driver’s license or passport.  You will have to be over the age of 18.

Do You Accept Pets?

Yes.  At the Marina Inn, we are pet friendly, but we ask that you please make those arrangements at the time you book your room.

Can I Print Out My Boarding Pass at Your Hotel, also is there a Charge?

We will print your pass at no charge.

Can I Receive and Send Faxes?

Yes. Incoming faxes are free, but for outgoing faxes there is a charge.

Do I Need to Rent a Car?

Our hotel is close to many local attractions in Downtown San Diego and the San Diego Bay. We are also near the trolley station, which offers affordable transportation throughout San Diego. It is not necessary to rent a car, but it may be more convenient.

How Long Does it Take to Receive a Response to My Booking?

The booking confirmation is given to you INSTANTLY because room availability is constantly updated in the system.

What is the Payment Method?

The price of requested room is confirmed by HR Hotel Reservation. Your credit card will not be charged until the day of arrival.

What is your Safety and Privacy Policy?

The information requested during registration is necessary for the hotel to manage the booking request. All information is strictly confidential and shall be transmitted via an encrypted channel that ensures privacy. Your credit card data, necessary to guarantee booking, is also transmitted through safe, on the protected bank server (SSL Secure Server).
